EURAD-2 - Milestone 61 - Evaluation of RWM strategies for the disposal of waste bearing naturally occurring longlived radionuclides

This report summarises the work completed for EURAD-2, Work Package 3 (ASTRA), sub-task 5.3.
The objectives of this work included a consolidation of learning internationally on the lifecycle management of challenging waste types such as: Radium, Thorium, Uranium (Ra/Th/U) and Depleted Uranium (DU) via a questionnaire developed and distribution to member states within this Work Package. There have been 19 submissions from 17 countries, from a range of different organisations, including consultancy groups, engineering companies, research and development organisations and those who are responsible for the management of these types of waste forms in their respective countries (such as TSOs, RE and WMOs).
