Call to action | Invitation to contribute to the first SUDOKU/RAMPEC Training Workshop on Diffusion and Reactive Transport Experiments

As diffusion experiments within the SUDOKU and RAMPEC work packages are underway, we are pleased to invite you to contribute to the preparation of the first joint SUDOKU–RAMPEC Training Workshop on Diffusion and Reactive Transport Experiments.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together all teams working on solute diffusion in porous media to exchange knowledge and practical experience—from sample preparation and experimental design to data interpretation and reactive transport modelling.

To help us prepare a programme that best meets your needs, we kindly ask you to complete the following survey:

Your responses will help us identify the key topics to be covered during the workshop. Please submit one response per institute by 15 July 2026. We also encourage you to share the survey with colleagues who may be interested in participating.

Timeline

  • 15 July 2026: Survey deadline
  • 13 October 2026 (14:00–15:00): Online pre-workshop session presenting the survey results and the proposed workshop programme
  • January 2027: Training workshop (maximum of 50 participants). Further information on the venue and registration process will be provided in October 2026.
